Located in Hockessin, Delaware, we strive to produce stunning home designs and reconstructions to help you build the home you've always wanted--affordably. We'll meet or beat any competitor's price.  



Owner, Jim Albany, worked for a carpenter through high school and college over school and summer breaks. The men that taught Jim were very meticulous and built high end, high quality homes.



Graduation lead to the corporate world; however, Jim continued his passion for carpentry by working for friends and family building decks, remodeling  basements, kitchens and bathrooms.  These projects and continued referrals lead to the start of Complete Home Design & Construction (CHDC).

Officially in business since 2004, CHDC has grown and is experienced in complete renovations in all aspects of home improvement.  We pride ourselves on quality and customer satisfaction.  We believe that attention to detail and customer service sets us apart from our competition, and it allows us to continue to focus on high end projects. We work with property owners to select the highest grade materials, and we continue to contact the customer even after the job has been completed.
